1. Membership & Payments
1.1 Unite Martial Arts school clubs operate on a £38 per month rolling membership unless otherwise stated.
1.2 Payments are collected automatically via the booking system on a monthly recurring basis.
1.3 Membership payments secure your child’s place in the class and cover weekly training sessions during term time.
1.4 Payments may be paused during school holidays, including the summer break, after the final lesson of term.
1.5 Payments come out on the first of the month. If you sign up after this, an additional covering payment will be added onto your next month's bill to cover the cost of the unpaid sessions.
2. Cancellation Policy
2.1 Membership cancellations require a minimum of one month’s written notice.
2.2 Notice must be submitted via email or through the booking platform.
2.3 Your child may continue attending classes during the notice period.
2.4 Refunds will not be issued for missed classes once payment has been taken.
3. Gradings & Belt Progression
3.1 Unite Martial Arts operates a structured belt progression system to recognise student development and achievement.
3.2 Grading assessments take place once per term, typically towards the end of the school term.
3.3 A grading fee will be charged to cover the cost of the belt, certificate, and administration of the grading.
4. Attendance
4.1 Students should arrive promptly for class and be collected on time after the session.
4.2 If a child is unable to attend a session, parents should inform the instructor where possible.
4.3 Unite Martial Arts is not responsible for students outside the scheduled class time.
5. Health & Safety
5.1 Parents/guardians must inform Unite Martial Arts of any medical conditions, injuries, or additional needs that may affect participation.
5.2 Classes are designed to be minimal contact, focusing primarily on technique, drills, and controlled activities suitable for children.
5.3 Martial arts training involves physical activity and carries a small risk of injury. By enrolling their child, parents/guardians acknowledge this and accept responsibility for their child’s participation.
6. Behaviour Policy
6.1 Students must follow instructor guidance and demonstrate respect towards other students and staff at all times.
6.2 Disruptive or unsafe behaviour may result in a student being removed from the class.
7. Liability
7.1 Unite Martial Arts instructors are fully insured and qualified to deliver martial arts training to children.
7.2 By registering for the club, parents/guardians accept that participation in martial arts activities carries inherent risks and agree that their child takes part at their own risk.
7.3 Unite Martial Arts cannot be held responsible for loss or damage to personal belongings brought to the class.
